The Studio

A small studio in ink,
led by one classical hand.

FuBlessings is a calligraphy studio led by Artist Lina Sun, a classically trained Chinese calligrapher and graduate of Shenzhen University's Fine Arts program. Every piece that leaves the studio is brushed by hand, signed, and sealed — never printed, never repeated. Based in Shenzhen, China. Brushed and shipped from the studio.

Artist Lina Sun began her training in classical Chinese calligraphy at the Fine Arts program of Shenzhen University, where the discipline of brush and ink is taught not as decoration, but as a form of attention — a way of being still long enough to let a single character take its time.

Her practice centers on two of the most disciplined script styles in the Chinese tradition: Kaishu (楷书, regular script) and Xiao Kai (小楷, fine small-character calligraphy). These are the styles taught first to children and refined last by masters — the foundation on which every other form of Chinese calligraphy is built.

Her work has been recognized with the Grand Prize of the 5th Zhonghua Cup National Calligraphy & Painting Competition, and she serves as Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association. Beyond competition, her brush has also served quieter causes — she was honored as a Charity Artist at China Charity Night, where her calligraphy was offered in support of children's welfare and social aid.

Today, FuBlessings is her way of bringing this practice into the world quietly, one commission at a time. Each piece is a conversation — between the person who orders, the person who will receive, and the artist whose hand carries the wish from one to the other.

How a piece is made.

Every commission moves through four quiet stages. There are no shortcuts — but there are also no surprises.

— Stage I

The Conversation

It begins with a message — about the person you have in mind, the moment you want to mark, and the character that fits.

— Stage II

The Brush

Artist Lina Sun prepares ink, paper, and stillness. Each character is brushed by hand on rice paper — never printed, never traced.

— Stage III

The Seal

Once the ink has settled, the work is signed and sealed in red — the artist's quiet signature on a finished piece.

— Stage IV

The Journey

The finished piece is mounted, packed by hand, and sent on its way — ready to be opened, kept, and passed along.
